A hotfix for B17 has been pushed. Patch notes:
- Fix attempt for a commander-related server crash on map switch
- Fix attempt for client hitches that occurred whenever emplacements were built or destroyed. This was caused by an optimisation introduced around A16 (but which didn't make it into A16) to slightly reduce the replication load of deployables on the server. Unfortunately, we didn't figure out this caused client hitches. I apologise for the inconvenience and hope this improves the situation.
- Forgot to update the version number.

If you still experience stuttering with this hotfix, please keep letting us know - we can't fix the game without your reports. Thanks a load and good shootin'!

I wish this won't start a flame or something (maybe it's been asked before).

I don't understand much that rule about not locking squads on RIP servers. It makes sense for infantry, but most of the games it goes like this - I start armour squad and since nobody wants to lead infantry squads, after while my armour squad gets filled by infantry.

Best thing scenario then is that we take multiple armour and play it that way (and I still have troubles leading more than one vehicle), worst case scenario is 2-3 men in armour and then 5-6 infantry guys making unnecessary chatter on squad comms (at least unnecessary from armour point of view) etc..

What do you think? Does that happen to you? Or do you even play a lot of armour?

Just kick them. Name your squad "Armour 3 man" or how ever many people you want max. Then you kick the people who can't read.

Hey folks! We've pushed out Beta 19.2 which contains some fixes, as well as addresses the server browser weirdness. We're going to keep an eye on that situation.
