Cards against humanity.

Or what my parents made us play; hit 'em with a stick and see which family member cries first. Tho I firmly believe monopoly is basicly the same thing.

Things were rough back in the 90ths..

My family and I usually play Chinese checkers, the rules are simple and 6 people can play at the same time.

Also a lot of card games.

Bang! - a detective game for 4-7 players. Depending on the amount of players you have one sheriff, one or more deputies, multiple outlaws and a renegade. The sheriff reveals his role at the start of the game, the others you have to guess. On turn you draw card and play cards, find gun cards which allow you to shoot further. Outlaws kill the sheriff and renegade, sheriff kills all outlaws and renegade, deputy helps the sheriff, and the renegade has to be the last man standing to win.
Also exists in a dice game which has a bit of a Yahtzee style of gameplay, also very fun.
Age 3+ but it does teach kids that beer and moonshine actually heal you.

The Game of Life - a board game with a spinner in the middle of the board which decides how many steps you can move, you start as a teenager that finishes school, you can choose to start working immediately or go to university first. During the trip around the board you will have to make life decisions like buying houses, getting a wife and kids. Some jobs will only be available for people who did the university path so the decision really matter. At the end of the game everything you own is sold and the person with the most money at the end wins the game.

Labyrinth - a board game featuring a maze made out of blocks which you randomly place on the board. Some of the blocks have items drawn on them. Every player starts in a corner of the maze, they can move their character in the part of the maze they can access, then choose to move one row of the maze, horizontal or vertical, making the maze change every turn. Everyone is given 3 items they have to try collect from the maze in order win the game.

Spyfall - a detective game, randomly select one of the 20 decks in the game, take enough cards from it for the amount of players and add one Spy card, shuffle the deck and give everyone one card. On the cards everyone will see a location and who they are (ex. Captain on a Submarine) except the Spy whose card just says 'SPY'. On turn you ask a question to someone else about the location or their job. Everyone has to find who is the spy while the spy has to find what the location is.

Snake Oil - a talking game, every player gets a bunch of cards with words on it, then on turn a player draws a card with an occupation on it, he is the 'customer' that round, the other players have to use their cards to form a fictional product to sell to the customer. Every player gets a certain amount of time to try promote their invented product. The customer then chooses which product he's most interested in, the inventor gets one point. Next turn... (also has NSFW expansion pack named Crude Oil, selling 'Pussy Odor' to a 'Pervert')

Some other games we like to play but are probably not suited for 10 year olds:
- Secret Hitler
- Plague inc. The Board Game
- Dead of Winter
- Betrayal at House on the Hill
