Nice! I'm a GM in a around the table Rolemaster campaign here in Sweden and have played rpgs since I was like 16 or something.

Wish you the best, can't join because of time limits unfortunately.

I've been DM'ing a campaign for a few years now for a few friends, having an absolute blast.
If you need any tips or resources, let me know! I have a lot of maps, generators etc.

I won't be able to join but if anything comes up in the future (a one-shot maybe?) I'd love to hear it :D

I'm gonna be a non-binary kobold bard, I use the nouns: They, Them. And I'm chaotic neutral apparently. You better respect me or I'm gonna make mean rap diss tracks about you

Best advice I received: Get used to improvising and: there's not really any way to "mess up" if you and your players are all there for the fun and to create an epic story.

It also helps is you know what you and your players want/expect: lot's of combat, no roleplay, lot's of roleplay, not that much combat or anything in between. Gives you an idea what to focus on, this can also become clear on the go of course.

Then the practical/resources:

Matt Mercer and Matthew Colville both have great instructions on youtube for DM's and players.

This is a great collection of online resources:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDBehindTheSc ... esources/

This is a nice collection too:

For spells:
http://hardcodex.ru/

Encounter difficulty calculator:
https://kobold.club/fight/#/encounter-builder

For battlemaps:
Pinterest is a great resource, search for "Battlemap RPG" combined with any environment keyword and you'll find a lot of good quality stuff.

I will PM you a link to my google drive resource doc as well.

 What he said. Just beware of the Matt Mercer Effect. Google it.
